Well, in the redoing of my living room (photo posted last week), it seems it was not quite finished.  With the addition of one bright red wall, I think we can settle down and enjoy the new modern look.

DESIGN TIP OF THE WEEK:

We have just finished redoing our living room...and it has turned out wonderfully, but it was not done without worry.  I experimented with a much lower sectional sofa in two shades, beige/gray and soft white and going from standard 18" high seating to 15" high seating was a little nerve wracking.  But I was so much more comfortable on the tight tufted bench style seats than I was sinking into down filled loose sofa cushions.  The room is ever so much more spacious.  And it passed it's first test on Saturday night when we had friends over and they were comfy, too...no problem getting down to that seating height.
So my tip for this week is:  Expand your horizons!
